DDS
Digital Data Storage, DDS tape, is a format for storing and backing up computer on magnetic tape that evolved from Digital Audio Tape (DAT) technology. A DDS tape drive uses helical scanning for recording, which means there are two read heads and two write heads. The read heads verify the data that has been written (recorded). If errors are present, the write heads rewrite the data. We offer DDS1, DDS2, DDS3, DDS4, and DAT 72 from Sony, Maxell, Fuji, and Emtec.
