Avastor SDX-400 1TB external hard drives feature dual FireWire 400 ports as well as a USB 2.0 port. Data transfer rates with FireWire 400 can reach up to 40MB/s. 34MB/s when using the USB 2.0 port.
The internal hard drives in the Avastor SDX enclosure are connected through a SATA interface with a 7200RPM spindle speed. The bridge chipset is from Oxford Semiconductor, providing performance and compatibility.
Avastor SDX external hard disk drives have an all metal chassis and enclosure.
