G-DRIVE mini from G-Tech boasts 500GB of data capacity in a small, ultra-portable external hard drive enclosure. These drives are ideal for backups or expanding your current storage setup.
G-DRIVE mini 500GB features one USB 2.0 port and two FireWire 800 ports all bus-powered, eliminating the need for an AC power adapter.
This 7200RPM drive boosts your data transfer rate significantly over that of a 5400ROM drive. The fanless case keeps the drive running cool without the added noise.
G-DRIVE mini arrives HFS+ formatted for OS X machines and is Time Machine ready. A simple reformat will make this external hard drive work with Windows systems. (Instructions for reformatting are located on the "Downloads" tab for this product.)
