5big Network 2 plugs in to your network offering 10TB RAID storage space at gigabit ethernet speeds. LaCie 5big supports many different networking protocols, including SMB, AFP, HTTP, FTP and more.
Need to add more storage space to 5big? just plug in an external storage device to 5big's eSATA or USB 2.0 ports.
Supporting RAID 5 and RAID 6, the data you store on 5big is always secure. If one hard drive fails, simply pull it out, add a new drive, and all your data is still available and safe.
Backup your data even further by attaching an external hard drive to 5big and copy important data over through eSATA or USB.
5big is iSCSI compatible and features an easy to use web-based management interface. 5big Network 2 is DHCP enabled, and works with Windows networked environments, including Active Directory.
