This adapter allows every device with a USB port to be able to read SDHC cards. Also, when plugged into a USB 3.0 port, this adapter allows SDHC cards to achieve transfer rates of up to 90MB/s. When used with Panasonic's UHS-1 SD cards, the reader works in conjunction with the downloadable Card Checker software, which gives you a real-time view of the remaining life of your Panasonic SDB SDHC card.
