Pros Very smooth tape treansport. Very Little oxide shedding. Very low noise.
Cons Higest frequencies are about 2 DB less than Maxell XL tape, but can be fixed with treble boost in playback.
How this product is used I have recorded 14 so far and none of them have any tape transport or tape creasing problems- these are the smoothest moving, perfectly aligned cassettes I have ever used. The tape itself is very low noise and has pretty good frequency response on my deck- not quite as accurate as Maxell XL II, but those cassettes are long gone from production. I find that the very highest frequencies are a little lower in volume with Polaroid High Bias cassettes, but all of the highs are there and it just requires about 2db of treble boost in playback to sound very close to the original source. The tape itself has very little oxide shedding and maintains its flat tape to head contact very well and I have not heard any tape dropouts or misalignment problems with Polaroid High Bias cassettes.

Cons Tapes come in a 10 pack but the price listed is per tape - misleading.
Other Notes I returned the tapes instantly. I thought I was getting the 10 pack but the price was individual.
