Open the box, plug in the cables, turn on the power. The Rimage 2000-i disc duplicator/printer is ready to go.  There's nothing to assemble, no printer to mount, and no alignments to make.

The ultra contemporary, high-quality Rimage 2000i disc publisher is a fully-contained, robotic duplicator and printer; yet it's suprisingly affordable.  With a 2:1 recorder to printer ratio, bottlenecks in the production line are eliminated.  In other words, the high-resolution, 3 pico-liter HP inkjet printer isn't sitting around doing nothing while CDs and DVDs are still being recorded.

Rimage 2000i features

• Patented data-streaming technology transmits data to each individual recorder simultaneously.
• 2:1 printer recorder ratio prevents bottlenecks in the production line.
• 4800 dpi (dots per inch) print resolution and a full color spectrum of 16.7 million colors.
• Realistic photo imaging, vivid color output and sharp text delivered by a remarkable 3 pl (pico liter) HP inkjet printer using PhotoREt IV color layering and ColorSmart III color optimization. Uses black RB1 and color RC1 ink cartridges.
• Advanced ink management system prevents wasted ink to minimize operating costs.
• LCD indicates current system status at all times.
• 100 disc input
• No charge telephone support.
• Produces up to 12 DVDs per hour or 28 CDs per hour depending on disc content and printing area.

• CD Designer An easy-to-use application providing the ability to create, import and customize the graphics that will be printed on the CD or DVD surface.
• QuickDisc A complete application for the preparation and assembly of disk content and disc graphics, job submission, and job status monitoring. Supports ISO 9660 Level 1 (MSDOS, Win 3.x, NT 3.x, Unix), ISO 9660 Level 2 (Win 95/98/200, NT 4.0, Unix), Joliet-Microsoft Format (Win 95/98/2000/NT), UDF 1.5 (DVD, Win 98/2000), Macintosh HFS, Macintosh ISO Extensions.
• Production Server   Job mangement software that enables the full use of system resources via asynchronous control of the recording, printing, robotics, movements, pre-mastering and staging of images.
• Production Server for system control and operation
• Rimage System Manager   Provides access to system level preferences, queuing and priority options and other global system management controls for production monitoring and system administration
• Control Center System Recovery   For restoration, if required.
