Sony SxS Pro Memory Card, SBP-32 - 32 Gigabytes

Sony now introduces the new higher capacity SxS Pro Memory card - the SBP-32 which offers 32 GB worth of capacity. The Sony SxS Pro Memory cards are based on SxS pro memory card specifications and offer huge capacity and high transfer rates. ExpressCard is the new replacement standard for PC cards supported by the PCMIA.

Sony developed the SxS Pro Memory card line up to increase efficiency while shooting. This satisfies the demand for professional camcorders or non-linear editing systems with higher performance and reliability.

High Speed Transfer

Dramatically improving workflow, the SBP-32 offers a transfer rate of 800 Mpbs. With a high transfer rate like that, large files are a snap. Use SxS cards in harsher conditions to really reap the benefits. Compact size and high transfer rates optimize the performance of the solid state XDCAM EX line up. Connect cards to a computer using a high speed PCI Express bus to attain fast transfer speeds.

Small and Compact

SxS Pro Memory cards pack alot of functionality into a small card. The SBP-32 is half the size of a standard PC card. The small cards allow the cameras to be smaller, but yet offer high storage capacity. Mobile videography is easier with the small size of the media. With the 32GB card in an XDCAM EX camera over an hour and a half of recording time is available.
