Now in 4x speed, TDK Blu-ray discs offer massive storage capabilities, super-fast transfer rates and a white thermal hub printable surface.
The Durabis Hard Coating Technology featured on TDK discs provide added protection for the disc and the information stored on it.
Utilize TDK white thermal hub printable Blu-ray discs in a Microboards Blu-ray duplicator or Rimage publisher for fast duplicating and publishing. White thermal hub printable discs are for use in Everest thermal re-transfer printers and yield vibrant, crisp clear images. TDK Blu-ray discs employ a Durabis 2 hard coating to protect the disc. The Durabis 2 protects the disc surface from scratches, and resists smudges from fingerprints. Though hard coating technology is required by Blu-ray specifications, the Durabis 2 coating offers a little more protection with its scratch resistant, dust resistant properties.
Resists Dust
The Durabis coating enables the TDK Blu-ray disc to release static charges faster than other Blu-ray discs. The reduction of static charge keeps dust from building up and binding to the disc surface.
Resists Grime
Fingerprints and smudges are a thing of the past with the Durabis coating on TDK Blu-ray discs. Reducing grime that tends to accummulate with daily use allows the laser to properly read the disc.
Resists Scratches
Industry leading scratch resistance is achieved through the Durabis hard coating. Untreated discs can easily be ruined by mishandling and wiping away smudges- but not TDK Blu-ray discs with Durabis 2 coating.
