Verbatim UltraLife Gold Archival Grade 8X DVD-Rs are now available from TapeOnline.com! These DVD-Rs contain dual reflective layers that allow the discs to last for up to 100 years. The gold layer of the discs is more resistant to corrosion, and keeps oxygen from corroding the silver reflective layer. At 4.7GB, these are still single layer discs in terms of storage capacity, but the extra internal layers and hard protective coating add to the discs's longevity.
